Hi list, I am looking for marriages between members of the James, Betts, or Dolbee/Dolby families. All three families lived close together in Broad Creek Hundred, in 1830. I have additional information on Betts and Dolby if it will help. Does anyone have these kind of records? Thanks John

Hi John Sorry to be slow responding to your email but my computer has been down and I am currently trying to recreate my files. I have a number of James and Dolby marriages in my line. Have not found any Betts as yet but this is always a possibility. In addition to Dolby and James I have Messicks, Hudsons and Cannons in the same line. Do you have any of these in your line? What James or Dolbys are you looking for? The earliest Dolby that I have proven for my line is Isaac Dolby, Broad Creek Hnd, probated 1844. My later Dolby line was mostly in Nanticoke area. These Dolbys and James' are mostly buried at Asbury Chapel/Church on the Laurel Georgetown Hwy. Let me know if I can be of help to you.
