I come from his son William H., Roberts brother. I have Robert's death certificate and it lists Levin Tucker as his father. I have lots of info and will share. An interesting thing, Robert apparently had a brother, Levin Jr. who moved to Indiana with family then went back to Delaware in 1830. He is in the 1840 census for Delaware living next to William Tucker, probably a brother but I can not prove this. There is a website that has some good info on Levin Tucker born in 1823. Good article that answered some questions, but left more unanswered. I have been trying to find info on Levin Tucker, Robert's father. He was married in 1802 to Annable Workman in Sussex County Delaware. He was a "male at least 21 years of age", so born no later than 1781. Does any of this add up? Let me know what you think, hope this helps. I do have all the documents to back this up. Roger W.
