<PRE>There is a chuch in Gumborough Hundred on Wootten Road in Sussex Co. that has an unused Methodist Episcopal Church called Bethasda Church. In the churchyard cemetery is the grave of ISAAC N. WOOTTEN who died Aug 26 1819 age about 87 years (c1732). According to Scharf's "History of DE," a group from this church migrated to NC and GA. Included in this/these groups were the Gordy ancestors of President Jimmy Carter's mother, Lillian Gordy.
