This Messick family is really confusing. Julian had a son named Jacob, a son named Nehemiah, one named Issac and so on. at that time it was fashionable to name your sons after yourself, your father, and your brothers. Therefore, each sons family contained all the same names--very, very, confusing. I also made the mistake in the name Jacob. Julian's son Issac was the one that remained in Sussex Co., De., that I am trying to connect my line to. Thank you very much for taking the time to respond. I have to find out who the parents of my George Nehemiah (or Nehemiah) was first I guess. Happy hunting, Janice
