    1. [DESUSSEX] COLLINS-WALSTON 1700s DE/M; also Major Collins early-mid 1800s Mercer Co., oH
    2. In the 1790 census, Worc. Co., MD, there is a Major WALSTON. 'Major' is the first name rather than title, and it was also the name of the oldest son of Solomon 1800-1849 and Nancy 1798-1873 WALSTON COLLINS MD and DE>OH 1840s. 'Free white males 16+ - 1; free white males under 16 - 2; free white femalesincluding Head of Families - 2. 1800, 1810, 1820 - No 'Major'. Is there any other evidence of this 'Major' in any interested persons' records? I hadn't found it in marriage records in Worc. Co. (haven't looked in DE). And is there evidence of a younger, b. 1820s, Major WALSTON other than in Solomon COLLINS' 1849 will Mercer Co., OH?
