The Adam Simonton, 29 January 1744, was the son of Robert Simonton and wife Margaret __. This Adam Simonton, by 1789 had land in GA. The other Adam Simonton was not the son of Robert Simonton. He went from NC to Ohio. He married ____ Cooper. Faye Simonton Bryan's DAR papers are now in despute at NSDAR, she descends from the Adam Simonton who went to GA.
