Could Sophia Smith be nee Cannon, widow of George Smith d1793[DE probate]. Could they be the parents of John H. Murray? I'm chasing wild geese looking for parents of John H. Murray b1801 [tombstone Joe Long Cemetery, Selbyville] m Lettie Murray[of Severn Murray]. Family tradition has him from Whaleyville area with H= Handy. In 1860 he was in Frankford with children Lovey, Severn "Handy", Emeline B., Mary "Elizabeth", Ann Mariah , Lettie "Ellen" and Curtis "William".
