These families were neighbors in the Nanticoke and Broad Creek Hundred area of Sussex County DE. Although Peter is not a popular name for Conaways in this area, the following marriages were recorded between Conaway and Issacs in Sussex County, Elizabeth Conaway m. John Isaacs 14 Feb 1840/9? ________ Connaway m. Owen Isaacs before 1845 Margaret Connaway m. Joseph Isaacs 4 Aug 1847 Mary Connaway m. Noah Isaacs 27 Oct 1837 Sarah Conaway m.
