According to my ggfather our Gordys started with Moses Coming from Ireland and landing in DE. He had John and Aaron. John had Jackson and Nathan. Nathan had Thomas, John Perry, Garrettson Born 1802, and Spicer. We go on from there. Most, if not all, were farmers in DE and MD. Some may have moved to other areas. Many are still in the area of the Delmarva Peninsula. My great-grandfather, Orlando Mack Shockley married Maria Ellen Gordy Rayne. Her first husband had passed away. They had my grandmother, Edith Ione Shockley. (Don't you love these names?!!!) She married Jack Palmer and they had my mom. Now it's difficult to follow men's names, and I guess you know how difficult it is to follow women's names. I have found several Aaron's in my "travels" but am having trouble verifying anything. We are moving back to the "shore" and I hope that I'll be able to go to places that may have info. What dates do you have for Aaron? Do you show a brother? Children? Ju! st being nosey! Have fun!
