Morris is my great grandfather. I have found a William Morris's will for 1818 in Sussex county listing Mitchell and showing some of the land that Mitchell later wills. Williams wife was Leddea. I have seen the stones for Mitchell and Rachel. I am still not sure of the birth date for Mitchell due to the will of William being in 1818 naming Mitchell as executer and other dates that do not meet the 1811 estimate from the census. I think someone got it wrong back then but does anyone know the right date for him? The H in John H is for Henry according to family papers.
