    3. The Orphans Court required that an annual viewing and valuation be done on all estates of orphans. This meant that usually 2 or 3 men were appointed by the court to physically vies and value the estate being the real estate and all dwellings, houses, fences, orchards, etc. They would do so and report their findings back to the Orphans Court. They would also appriase the annual valuation of the estate and recommend whether or not any more land should be cleared or what the rent should be for the estate. I would say that Daniel was the child of Levi Hastings. Hope this finds all well--tis a nasty day here on Delmarva <<<Neil>>>> www.familytreebookshop.com featuring Delmarva abstracts so thorough the dead come to life. ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Saturday, November 16, 2002 11:47 AM Subject: [DESUSSEX] Orphans Court- can someone explain this to me?
