Jonathan Dennis CATHELL was born near Laurel, Delaware in 1817, son of Jonathan CATHELL and Sally (Sarah) Twiford MORRIS. He joined the Methodist Protestant Church at Portsville when he was just 14. He married Margaret Ann Penuel, stepdaughter of Captain John Allen. He moved his family to Georgetown, District of Columbia, about 1842 where he lived the rest of his life. When he was 84, Jonathan wrote his autobiography "Synopsis of the long, earnest and busy life of Jonathan Dennis Cathell." I would like to obtain a copy of this work. Would anyone know where there might be a copy? I would also like to hear from anyone researching this line. Susan
