Hello Listers, I think this is my first posting to this list. In Seaford, Sussex Co., DE, I'm in search of obits or death notices for Dr. Bruce BARNES, died 31 August 1977, and his daughter, Dr. Doris R. BARNES (died Dec. 1989). From the Familysearch.org site it appears that Doris Barnes married about 1944, a Daniel V. SLAYSMAN (died May 1990), so she may be listed in the local newspapers as Doris Slaysman. The death dates are from the Social Security Death Index. This BARNES family came from Maryland originally (18th century), a branch to Beaver County, PA (19th century), then to Washington Co., Ohio (19th century), then to Passaic Co., NJ (late 19th to 20th century) to Sussex County, Delaware (20th century) I would like to contact living descendants, if possible.
