I am new at lineage, but have been trying to search my father's side of the family. The furthest I have traced is to my grandfather - Rufus Gordy. He was listed in census in the late 1800's. I wa told the "original" Gordy's came from Scotland and I believe a shipwreck was part of that story as well. In your search, have you come across a Rufus Gordy as a decendent of Moses? Some information is confusing on other messages, Moses is listed as Peter Sr. brother and also lists a son named Moses for Peter Sr. Ant info would be appreciated. Regards, Mike Gordy Plymouth, Wi.
