Shore very early on. There are a jillions JOHN COLLINS in the area and I have done spread sheet on land records for the COLLINS' Hasn't helped me so far as wives were hardly ever mentioned in land records. JOHN'S wife was already deceased when he d. in Bourbon Co KY 1815. He went from DE/MD to Washington Co PA to Bourbon Co KY. His daughter, RHODA m. DAVID HOPKINS. My spreadsheet goes back to 1679. Does anyone know if the DRYDEN papers have been transcribed into readable form. He wrote COLLINS family up, but it is impossible to read. Too small. He seems to think there were 3 seprate COLLINS families in the area. I feel sure that he could solve my brickwall if only the papers he wrote could be deciphered. Verna
