Surnames: perry,derry Classification: Lookup Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/3Y.2ADI/1462.1 Message Board Post: This family is also in the 1930 census living at st. johns road.The only person missing is their daughter,laurie or louise.Hard to make out the 1920 census.William is here at the age of 10.What's strange is I didnt find Basil Derry in the 1930 census,so I used the soundex and gave me Basil Perry.I looked at both the 1920 census and 1930 census and they both look like perry.There wasnt a basil derry in the ssdi but there is one basil perry born 22 july 1887 and died in georgetown,sussex county sept 1966.The age of 32 in the 1920 census and 42 in the 1930 census matches his birth year of 1887 because he didnt turn 33 until july and the census was before this.
