It would be very helpful if people would have a heading that indicated what the subject is rather than make reference to a particular digest. Many of us do not receive the digest form but rather the individual emails so the digest referencer means nothing to us. Thanks, Eva (Mrs. Dana West Ruben), Nevada City, CA
My Johnson family lived and died in Edgar Co Il. Benjamin was one of the first settlers. I believe the family was originally from Sussex Co Del. Arthur Johnson, Arthur Jr (buried in Edgar Co) and then Benjamin. Could there be a connection? I am looking for more information on their son, Marvel, born about 1775 and died before 1840. He lived in Sussex County, Nanticoke Hundred. His other siblings include: Levi (married to Luranah); William (married to Mary Polly Johnson); Eli G., born 1784; Nancy Evans, and a Sally. I am trying to find Marvel's wife's name and their children. I believe he is my 4th great grandfather. Thanks, Joni Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. I'd love to have any information you can send about that family. Thank you for your time. Joni Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. If you can go to the Delaware archives in Dover, you should look up the death certificates for all of these individuals as that should give their parents names.
