Morris, born ca. 1814, in Delaware. Ca. 1840, he married Rebecca Sale Davis in Berrien County, Michigan. Would like to know if Aaron was related to the 3 Morris men in the 1800 census and if anyone has information on Aaron's parents and/or siblings. My wife is a gr-granddaughter of Aaron and Rebecca Morris. Any information on any of the above Morris families would be appreciated. Thank you, Dennis. Isaac died in 1782 and his widow married Jonathan Cathell, who became guardian to Levin and his siblings, Isaac and Esther. Jonathan died in 1797, and I believe Levin became guardian to Jonathan and Betty's children, as Betty had already died and there is a lump sum settlement to Levin Collins in the administrative account of Jonathan's estate. The younger Jonathan Cathell first appears on the census (Little Creek Hundred) in 1820 right next door to Levin. Levin Collins is on the census for Little Creek Hundred through 1820,and is absent afterwards, so I expect he died between 1820 and 1830. I'm wondering if someone has access to his will and can tell me who his children are. Especially if Daughty Collins (b. ~1796), who also appears on the 1820 census as an apparent newlywed, is his son. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. The reference to Sacker Wyatt being from Ireland seems to come from a county history (from memory - Edgar Co., IL) which said that one of his grandsons, William or Augustus had Irish heritage. I'm still betting on the Wyatts coming from Kent Co., England. Sacker's widow Nancy married 2nd Jacob Prettyman. I don't know how he is connected to Thomas Jefferson Prettyman who married Lydia Wyatt. The administrations of Sacker's Delaware estate and that of his brother William contain references to most of these connections. If you go to rootsweb and search the family trees for William Wyatt b. 1640 there is more info. As far as migration goes, Sacker's son Jasper went to Monongalia, Virginia (now West Virginia). Several of his children migrated to Edgar Co., IL. The census taker for 1850 Edgar Co., IL deserves to be in the census takers' Hall of Fame. He recorded not only the state but the county of birth! :) -Donna
