I have James McMain West, husband of Rebecca Fisher Hazzard, as son of William West III & Mary Westley. Date of birth for James McMain West is 17 October 1795 in Lewes, DE. Eva, There are a few McMan's by married in my family. All showing about 1900 in NC county census. Could your McMain have been an incorrect transcription of that name.
