Hi! I noticed you listed PRETTYMAN's from Sussex. By any chance are your PRETTYMAN's, the ones that married into the WYATT family. I don't have my papers handy right now, but a Prettyman married a dau of Wm Sacker Wyatt and his second wife Nancy (JOHNSON). They had three daughters; Letty, Lydia and Huldah. I have been trying to find info on my WYATTS when they were in Sussex, DE and have not had much luck. Jack, I had WYATT relatives in the Sussex area around the same time period and some of them (I don't know if all) went to Monogalia, WV in the late 1790's and early 1800's. From there they made a short stop in Vigo Co, IN and then they went on to Edgar Co, IL. Some stayed there, some went over the line to Parke Co, IN and some went to Iowa. Seems like around that time period many people also went to Brown and Clermont Co, OH and then on to IN and IL and if they didn't stay they often went on to Iowa, Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri etc. If you have access to the censuses, you might want to check Ohio, VA and WV and then Indiana and Illinois as starters. Hope this gives you some good results. Good Luck and Happy Hunting. I found a Matilda Morris, age 46, living in the household of Thomas Wadkins/Watkins in Sussex Co. in 1850. It appears she had a daughter named Sarah A., age 10. Does anyone have any idea who this Matilda Morris was? As far as I know, Thomas did not have a sister by that name; all his siblings were named in his sister's estate file in 1845 and no Matilda is mentioned. While I'm at it...is anyone else researching the Watkins family from NWF, Sussex Co., or Caroline Co., MD.? Thanks! Adina
