My aunt had done a lot of research, and I am just going on the notes she handed down to me. MY Grandfather was born in Mcbride MI in 1891. He and a sister were the children of Charles Desgardins (born 1887 Montcalm county, MI) and Clara Foss (born 1869 in Holland). The Charles (born 1887) was the son of C Desgardines and Mary Reno(spelling?). I do know this C Desgardines was born in Canada. That is all I have. I do have the marriage license of Charles and Clara, which states that Charles is the son of C Desgardins and Mary Reno. Clara is the daughter of John and Clara Foss. Any input you could share would be greatly appreciated.
