I've "rescued" an old photograph of Alphonse R. DESJARDINS which was taken at the E. T. Langlois Studio in Winooski, Vermont. The photograph is dated 1898 with Alphonse appearing to be in his teens at the time it was taken. Based on limited research I was able to locate the following information regarding Alphonse: Alphonse was the son of Julius Roy dit DESJARDINS b. 4 Sept 1844 in Saint Andre Co. Kamouraka, d. 26 Jul 1898 in PI, Canada and Odile BEAULIEU b. 3 Jan 1856. The couple had at least 6 children including, Anna Mary; Charles; Alphonse; Fred; Elvina; and Antoinette DESJARDINS.
