Portland. She was born September 4, 1914 in Biddeford, a daughter of Antoine and Valerie (Cabana) Ledoux. She attended Biddeford schools. On April 25, 1932, she married Leo Paul Desjardins in St. Joseph's Church, Biddeford. After 38 years of marriage, he died in 1970. Lucille worked with several area shoe shops for several years, before her retirement in 1976. Previously, she worked with Pepperell Mills for over 44 years and Claristale, Dover, NH, for several years. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph's Church. Lucille enjoyed spending time outdoors and doing work around the house. She especially enjoyed seeing and taking care of her family. She is predeceased by her husband, two sons, Gerard and Paul Desjardins, a grandson, Gerard Desjardins Jr., and many brothers and sisters Lucille is survived by: 1 granddaughter: Linda L. Wimbrow and her husband Ray of Atlantic, VA 2 great granddaughters: Candi Whitehead and Ashley Wimbrow, both of Atlantic, VA 3 nieces- Beatrice LaCount of Sanford Elizabeth Preston of Barrington, NH Mabel Durand of Norfolk, VA 2 nephews- Perley Ledoux of Farmington, NH Maurice Ledoux of Sanford Several great nieces and nephews Visiting Hours will be 9 - 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 23, 2010 at Hope Memorial Chapel. A Funeral Service will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Biddeford. Arrangements are by Hope Memorial Chapel, 480 Elm Street, Biddeford, ME 04005.
