Duluth, MN Clara b. 1863 St. Pacome, Quebec, CA (married Thomas Demars/Arthur Boulrice Sixtus/Joe b. ab. 1866 Quebec, d. Pontiac, MI Lenore b. 1873 in CA (m. Alfred Chandanais d.1945 Garden, MI Claudia b. 1874 St. Pacome, Qu, CA m. James Chandanais d. 1963 Clair, MI Emil Xavier b. 1883 Grand Falls, NB, CA died 1953 Cooks, Schoolcraft, MI Emil kept the American form of Gardner as his name, as did his descendants. Children of Francois/Alfred: Rene and Mary both moved to Green Bay, WI. For a time they used Gardner (wanting to fit in) but after a few years, went back to DesJardins. Since Green Bay is only about 60 miles from Marinette/Menominee, thought this might fit your question. Could you tell me about your Marinette/Menominee family?
