Rosalie, I have a Joseph Martin that married Matilda Desjardins or Desjordin before 1841 in Canada she was born about 1825 in Kankakee County Illinois and died in 20 June 1869 in Ganeer Township, Kankakee County, Illinois. Her parents are unknow to me, but her daughter Louise Martin married my great grandfather Charles Joseph Emile Boudreau. Joseph Martin was born about 1820 in Kankakee County, Illinois or Canada (census have both) and died after 1880. There children are Henry (b. abt 1841 in Canada), Joseph (b. 1842 in Canada), George (b.abt 1844 in Canada), Josephine (b. abt 1846 in Canada), Mary(Marie) (b.1849 in Canada), Edward (b. between 1852 and 1853 in Canada).
