Portland. She was born September 4, 1914 in Biddeford, a daughter of Antoine and Valerie (Cabana) Ledoux. She attended Biddeford schools. On April 25, 1932, she married Leo Paul Desjardins in St. Joseph's Church, Biddeford. After 38 years of marriage, he died in 1970. Lucille worked with several area shoe shops for several years, before her retirement in 1976. Previously, she worked with Pepperell Mills for over 44 years and Claristale, Dover, NH, for several years. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph's Church. Lucille enjoyed spending time outdoors and doing work around the house. She especially enjoyed seeing and taking care of her family.
