Thank you to the list for replies to my question, I can now confirm the factory was owned by a Mr Percy Wright, and it moved to Barrhead it was a leather factory, and later won the Queen's Award for Industry Thank you once again Aileen Nobody ever climbed a mountain by saying   'I can't'
