Afternoon all I have a brick wall on one of my Lea Mills men serving in WW1 In the Directors' Parcel Book there is an entry for Sam Atkins Pte 61990 D Coy 4th Res Hampshires. Bally Ruila(?) Ireland (no date or other info) Other than this I cannot find Sam in local census nor in military records on Ancestry. I cannot find where Bally Ruila is either (although hand written it seems clear; have also tried Bally Kuila) Would like him to be more than this brief entry. Would like to know what the Hampshires were doing in Ireland, where is Bally Ruila(?) and where he is hiding in the census. Little hope of finding him in military records. I do know he must have worked at Lea Mills or for the Marsden-Smedley family owners I hope a brighter soul than I can find out a little more Peter
