My brick wall Matthew COPE b 17.11.1834 in Derby. 2 Christenings - one in Darley Abbey on 4.12.1834 and one in the Wesleyan Methodist Church in Derby on 4.1.1835. In the 1841 census he lived at 3 River Street, Derby. In 1851 at 37 Cockpit Hill, Derby He married Hannah BAKER 14.5.1853 at St Alkmunds Church, Derby. They had a daughter Eunice Mathewana COPE 11.1.1860. But by the 1861 census he has disappeared off the face of the earth - I just cannot find him anywhere. His wife and child are living with her parents at 50 Abbey Street by then. Any ideas for me to follow? Maureen Allen
