Connie Family stories say that he was a farmer so possibly wealthy enough to buy headstones - but then we all know not to trust family stories. Hallo I have an ancestor whose father was given as a farmer. The father was an ag lab but farmer sounds better when you're marrying the daughter of a well to do banker.
