Hello Rita Thanks very much for the info on Sutton cum Duckmanton. Joseph Twibell was a farmer of 200 acres in Sutton cum Duckmanton on the 1871 Census and listed on the Census before their address of Spring Wood is Wood Nook, Copices and Sutton Village. After Spring Wood is Sutton Pitt and then Park Side. Most of the residents seem to be farmers so I take it they were living just on the outskirts of Sutton cum Duckmanton, although I don't know the area. I have had a look at the burials and marriages after 1871 in Sutton cum Duckmanton for Sarah Jane Bullock but drawn a blank. She is a mystery! I did eventually find her father Benjamin's death in Sheffield transcribed as Benjamin Ballard so with Sarah's surname written as Bulcach on the 1871 Census, who knows how her surname may have been spelt in the marriage or burial records. I've researched that exact line and I know one of the branches had a name change to Bullas along the way. I've PM'd you Christine, we might have luck yet. Cheers....Dawn ©¿©¬
