Good afternoon I have just uploaded over 100 extra photos onto the www.crichparish.co.uk <http://www.crichparish.co.uk/> from the Brian and Herbert Key collection. There are still many more to come over the next few weeks as Herbert and Brian Key were keen photographers The late Herbert Key was a gifted local artist who painted many iconic and some unusual views of Crich. I was delighted to find a painting of the Ritz Cinema in Crich as I have been trying to find a photo of this but have failed. The painting will do me! I have photographed Herbert’s paintings which his brother Brian owned and hope to add more of these to the site in the next few weeks. I have managed to add a some already but many more to come Work still progresses on the histories of those from Crich Parish who served in the Great War. We are trying desperately to get as many photos and biographies as we can before the new Roll of Honour goes to print in time for the Remembrance Service in November. There will be an accompanying book to go with this. After November I will only be able to keep the website www.crichparish-ww1.co.uk <http://www.crichparish-ww1.co.uk/> up to date as unable to continue the hard-print work. I have updated and added quite a lot of extra information to the site. So, if you have anybody of interest on the Roll it would be worth looking to see if there has been an update. Peter
Cracking job. Well done. Andy
