    1. [DBY] JOHN EYRE and DOROTHY KING
    2. Jennifer Nicholas
    3. There has been some doubt about the dates for this couple. I can now narrow John's death down to before 1647   There is a Marriage Settlement John Froggotte - Mary Eyre at the DRO dated 1647. At this time Dorothy is already a widow.    The Indenture is signed after the marriage has taken place by Dorothy's brother in law Edward Eyre of Alport yeoman and John Froggotte's cousin Thomas Froggotte of Bubnill yeoman   Dorothy has paid £100 and John conveys land and property in Froggotte to Edward and Thomas on behalf of Mary. The document mentions one messuage and three cottages in Froggotte, two oxgangs of land, meadow or pasture with all houses, outhouses, barns, stables, orchards, gardens etc with waterways, water easements appurtenances etc.   Kind regards, Jennifer Nicholas.
