Hello List Can anyone help me with my research? I have John Horrobin 1820 who gives his place of birth as Littleover Derby. He was baptised in Alvaston and his parents are John Horrobin and Sarah Green. I know he had at least one sibling - a sister called Ellen b 1818. He married Mary Ann Shaw in 1846 in Stapleford. They had 6 children and the first 4 were all baptised the same day in Sandiacre. They were still living in Sandiacre in 1858 when their 5th child was born. By 1860 they had moved out of the area. I have an 1851 census result for a Joseph Horrobin b1825 and Enoch Horrobin b 1832 living in Sandiacre and giving their place of birth as Littleover but I cannot link them to John Horrobin 1820. In the census result for 1851 Joseph is married and his first child William was born in 1849. He probably married his wife Fanny just before this date. If anyone can help I would be very grateful.
