    1. [DBY] Brickwall demolition - B for Bailey
    2. Charani
    3. Moving on to the letter B. In my case this is Harriet BAILEY who was a bit of a handful! <G> She was born Q2 1859 Pilsley, Derbys, d of James BAILEY and Exey (nee HAYES). She first married John ATKINSON (out of area), then became involved with my 2xgreat uncle, Mark PARKER before moving on to George Henry DUTY. I've not found a marriage for Harriet to Mark. I suspect there wasn't one. I'd also like to find James BAILEY's parents. He was born around 1826 allegedly in Chesterfield Has anyone stumbled over the BAILEYs? Does anyone have any brickwall families whose surnames begin with B? I can't believe none of you have brickwalls :)) -- Charani (UK) OPC for Walton, Ashcott, Shapwick, Greinton and Clutton, SOM http://wsom-opc.org.uk

    1. [DBY] Brickwall demolition - B for Brindley, Brentnall and Birkin
    2. Dave Shaw
    3. My Bs came together on 9th December 1839 at Duffield where they were married in the Parish Church. They were Joseph BRINDLEY, born about 1818 in Derby and Mary BRENTNALL, born about 1814 in Belper. They were my g-g-grandparents. Joseph's father was also called Joseph, born around 1795 but no further information known. Mary's parents were William BRENTNALL, born in Horsley Woodhouse on 25th July 1777, and [yet another B] Elizabeth BIRKIN, born about 1780 in Belper. I think they were married in Duffield or Stanley in 1805. I have another brickwall needing demolishing when we reach H but that can wait until then. Dave Fleetwood
