    3. As the former owner of a commercial genealogy chart printing company I have experience of most software available between the mid 90s and last year. The most versatile software for tree printing is TreeDraw. Once the chart is drawn (using a Gedcom file as the source) every data element within it can be moved. That means that the amount of white space can be reduced dramatically. Less white space = fewer sheets of paper to join together, plus the result is much more like the traditional chart.
