Hi Barbara, I am not aware of any Connection to the Duffied Slaters, but of course there could be one somewhere. I know of about 3 different SLATER lines aound that part of Derbyshire. You didn't give any dates, my Joseph was born around 1703, son of Joseph SLAYER b 1673, S of Gilbert Slater who married Mary WRAGGE in 1672. These are all of Boyleston. Both of these had sons and I would need to follow their lines down, Sarah could have been a daughter of one of them. However I am not aware of the PARSON name either appearing in my Slater line. regards Hilary Message: 2 Date: Tue, 4 Jun 2013 08:34:14 +0100 (BST) From: BARBARA WINDER <barbara.osbiston@yahoo.co.uk> Subject: Re: [DBY] S for SLATER To: "derbysgen@rootsweb.com" <derbysgen@rootsweb.com> Message-ID: <1370331254.28881.YahooMailNeo@web171501.mail.ir2.yahoo.com> Content-Type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1 Has he any links to the Slaters of Hazlewood near Duffied?
