I have a mystery man, Jacob OSBORNE, of Elvaston. His Will was written in 1712 and he mentions his wife, Hannah. Query 1 - Hannah who??? Query 2 - where and when did they marry? He names two brothers, William and Isaac. Of course he does.  This family always called their sons Jacob, William and Isaac!! He also mentions his sister, Mary; a lot of those, too! I'm convinced, even if only by the naming pattern, that this nest  is related to my Spondon OSBORNEs. I just can't make the link, but suspect  he may be related to Rev William OSBORNE of Derby. If any dear lister has a crumb or two to add to the mix, I'd be delighted. Kind regards Joy
