Derby Mercury September 29 1803 Wednesday September 28, Derby MARRIED On Wednesday last at Glossop, in this county, Mr William KERSHAW, to Miss ROBINSON, only daughter of Mr George ROBINSON, both of Charles-town near Glossop. On Wednesday, Mr Robert ROWBOTHAM, Silverplater, to Miss Elizabeth WOOD, both of Sheffield. On Saturday, se'nnight, between eight and nine o'clock in the evening, Mrs ANDREWS, who keeps cows and lives on Sheffield Moor, locked up her house and went to Sheffield market. On her return she found that it had been broken open, and her hoard, consisting of upwards of ninety guineas in gold and some notes carried away.
