    3. Well what about Bakewell Pudding Rose? Traditional and linked to Derbyshire- sure there's plenty of receipes on line. Barbara PS lots of variations with bread and butter pudding too which is also ancient. My son once made one for 12 at university. ________________________________ From: Rose Kelland <rekelland@gmail.com> To: derbysgen@rootsweb.com Sent: Wednesday, 15 May 2013, 10:22 Subject: [DBY] Pre 20th century puddings or cakes! This may be a little off-topic - sorry - but I'm looking for a traditionally English, simple, pudding or cake recipe for a theme evening on Who Do You Think You are!!  What would your ancestors be eating as desserts or cakes?!
