Derby Mercury December 8, 1803 Derby, Wednesday December 7 DIED At Edensor, in this county, the Rev. James PEAKE, M.A. Domestic Chaplain to his Grace the Duke of Devonshire, Rector of Kingsley, in the county of Stafford, minister of Edensor, and of Cartmel, in the county of Lancaster. At Wirksworth, on Wednesday last, aged 80, Mrs. Blackwall, relict of the late Rev. Thomas BLACKWALL, rector of Muggington, in this county. On Thursday last in the 72nd year of his age, Robert WRIGHT Esq. of Great Longstone, one of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for this county. On Thursday last, at Brassington, in this county, in her 84th year, respected by her friends and acquaintance, Mrs PRESTWIDGE, relict of the late Mr John PRESTWIDGE, of that place. On Thursday last at Ardley, near Longford, in this county, aged 67, Mr Thomas WILKINS, steward to Edward COKE, Esq. in which situation he and his father had served that family upwards of a century with integrity and credit. He was kind to the poor, a sincere friend, and good companion; his death therefore will be regretted by a large circle of acquaintance. On Friday last, after a long illness, in the 20th year of his age, Mr John BROWNSON, eldest son of |Mr BROWNSON, of Allsop in the Dale, in this county,-" The fairest Blossoms ripen and decay the soonest." On Friday last, aged 78 years, Mrs BANCROFT, of this place. Sudden death- on Sunday night last, aged 67, Mr John TURNER, shopman to the late Mr TURNER and Mr PARKER, silversmiths, more than 40 years. He went to bed on the above evening, in apparent health and spirits as usual, -the next morning was found, a lifeless corpse.
