Hi Martin,   Have you looked at the Baslow and Hope PRs for your Mosleys? I have come across several Mosleys in my Froggatt family research. They may have been tenants of my John Froggatt of Froggatt and Moorseats, Hathersage at one point in 17th century. I believe they farmed at Haywood, near Froggatt as well. I'll see if I can locate some documents that mention them.   National Archives 1608 William Mosley witness to a tenancy agreement for Stoke Hall between Charles Cavendish and Barnard Wells.   National Archives 1615 Philip Mosley rents a close called the Nether Holme from Thomas Cowpe(r)   I have a note from a Hallam family researcher that a William Mosley of Stoke was the first husband of my great grandmother x 5 Sarah Leyland nee Hallam. Her first Leyland child was born 1731 so William Mosley must have died before that. I have no information about any Mosley / Hallam offspring.   Jennifer.
