Hi Karen, have you tried Wills, from Lichfield Record Office, or Notts Archives? You can search Lichfield Wills Index 1650-1750 online: http://www.staffsnameindexes.org.uk/StartPage.aspx?Mode=Details&Index=C. I just tried searching for ENGLAND there and found quite a few in Ilkeston, Alfreton, Heanor etc. For Notts Wills, you can search the online catalogue of Notts Archives, or contact them to ask for a search of their card indexes.
