This farm appeared in 1861, with my 2GGU as farmer. I can't find a consistent spelling for it, nor a consistent location. In 1881, John is still a farmer (in Boylestone) but the farm has no name. There may be several farmers working the land which was Lea Hall, or variant. Please could someone with local knowledge tell me where it is and how it's spelt, as it seems it is there today. BTW, I've spent years trying to link my husband with the HUNGERFORD family of Farleigh Hungerford, WIL. Amazingly enough, this week, I've made a connection with my own Derbyshire STANLEY family, as a HUNGERFORD daughter (Anne HASTINGS) married Thomas STANLEY, my 1C13R, in 1505. Does this mean M and I are distant cousins? Watch this space! Kind regards Joy
