Yes, you are correct.  It is Salt Lake City, which houses all the microfilms of all of England's church records.  I do alot of my research there, then go over to the UK and visit the churches and villages etc. Nice thing about SLC is they have machines that if the pages are bled through from ink and are illegible, you can light the pages to see them. I have found sooooo many records through this that are not indexed on LDS, Ancestry or FMP. Sorry about that!
