Hi, I have several BAGSHAWs born c1730 - 1740 whose place of birth is give as Copledale which appears to be near Hope. However, I can't find a map with Copledale on when I Google - does anyone have any ideas? Thanks Joan

Hi Joan I traced it to Coplow Dale - which seems to be the modern spelling.. Bartholomew Bagshaw is reported in family search born in Little Hucklow, with a christening in Hope. But when I googled Little Hucklow, Coplow Dale is marked close by.
