Good morning Rather frustrated. I have been doing a man-search on the 1939 register for some South Wingfield names. I know it used to be in Alfreton Reg District before transferring to Chesterfield Is there anyway I can restrict the search to find just South Wingfield residents? I have tried various places in the PLACE KEYWORDS and BOROUGH/ DISTRICT field boxes but no luck I am trying to trace S Cope; W Evans; R Knight; C Massey and J Pritchett. Forenames and DoB unknown but they all served in WW1 All I have managed to find is that W Evans was a good cricketer for S. Wingfield (newspaper search) Words of wisdom welcomed :-) Peter

There is a Henry MASSEY (Incapacitated through war) who is living at Mount Pleasant Farm. No area appears to be down as Wingfield so could be down under Chesterfield RD. Alternatively, look at the other close areas, ie Crich or Alfreton.
