Hi all You may have noticed when a url is posted it seems to be a lot longer than usual This is because Rootsweb are employing "proofpoint" to validate urls that are genuine (so in our best interests) You will see any posted url starts https://urldefense.proofpoint.com But still works as it should So if you are worried about clicking one you should be safe to do so One note that needs mentioning, please please when replying to any post, please delete the previous footer (plus any other irrelevant text) as the footer is added after the post, so is not treated as a posted url But when repeated back to the list, its treated as a posted url, so makes a huge post filled for no good reason, and is also filling the archives Thank you -- Nivard Ovington in Cornwall (UK)
