    3. Hi Lynne, Here is a web site which has old Ordinance Survery maps - might be worth having a look to see if a Derby Hall is noted on any of them for Buxworth. https://www.old-maps.co.uk/#/ Kind regards Joan -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Lynne Simpson via Sent: 22 July 2016 00:40 To: [email protected] Subject: [DBY] Derby Hall in Bugsworth/Buxworth Hello the list I am deep into writing up my own Derbyshire history and I would really appreciate some help. My 3xg grandfather James had a brother Moses who was born at Derby Hall when his father was schoolmaster in Bugsworth. Doing LOTS of Googling (since I can't get access to physical maps etc, or books) I cannot find where Derby Hall is/was. I have uncovered other baptism records also listing Derby Hall, Bugsworth, so it must have been somewhere. Another relative visited Buxworth and asked for any information about Derby Hall but no-one who was spoken with seemed to know anything about it. Can anyone clear up whether there was a Derby Hall anywhere in Bugsworth about 1850 or whether Derby Hall has now been called something else? Can anyone tell me if the schoolhouse was called Derby Hall? Is the schoolhouse the stone house on the opposite side of the road from the Navigation Inn that I can see on Google maps?
