    2. There is one possible one for the baby's death but nothing for her birth and certainly none for mum. The only possible one gives the age as 62 and it is a quarter too early for an August funeral so it can't be that one. Allsop is a common name in the area so not worth 'wasting' another £6 on the baby death. Her 2 older brothers' births were both registered but I guess if mother Hannah was ill after the birth then that might explain why baby Mary wasn't, especially if she was a sickly child who only lived for a month. Likewise, if Hannah was the driving force behind registering the other births, nobody would have the same enthusiasm to register her death as they would have had more important things to do than that.
